    • The four statuses
    • What you can do at each stage

Every service log moves through a lifecycle. Understanding statuses helps you know what's happening with your hours and what to do next.

    The four statuses

    1. Pending — submitted but not yet reviewed. You can still edit or delete it.
    2. Verified — approved by the organization. Read-only for you. The org can still edit (with audit trail).
    3. Rejected — the verifier flagged an issue. Tap the log to read their reason, correct the problem, and resubmit.
    4. Locked — included in an exported report or audit checkpoint. Further edits require a written reason that's logged forever.
    Verified hours build your record

Only Verified and Locked hours count toward your total. Pending hours appear separately and won't show on exports or transcripts.

What you can do at each stage

    • Pending → Edit, delete, or wait for review.
    • Verified → View only. Request a correction if something is wrong.
    • Rejected → Read the rejection reason, fix the issue, and resubmit a corrected log.
    • Locked → View only. Contact the organization if a change is absolutely needed.
    Don't create duplicates

If a log is rejected, fix the original and resubmit — don't create a new log for the same service session. Duplicates confuse verifiers and slow everything down.
